Things appear to be finally on the up for Jorginho in west London after a tough first year at Chelsea.
Brought to the Blues by Maurizio Sarri after impressing under the manager at Napoli, the midfielder's place in the team was questioned with the Italian international starting in a deeper role that saw N'Golo Kante pushed further forward.
Not one to get on the scoresheet or create goals for his teammates, many thought the player didn't deserve a place in the starting XI and he was booed onto the pitch by a number of fans during the Europa League tie against Malmo back in February.

Amid talk that he could make an instant return to Serie A after only one year in England following Sarri's decision to head home, Jorginho has remained in the capital and has so far made a name for himself under Frank Lampard.
The new head coach named the 27-year-old as one of his standout players in Wednesday's Super Cup defeat against Liverpool and he will be looking to carry on his impressive start given the wealth of midfield options available to Lampard.
Claiming that he is "a driver of the group" at Chelsea, Lampard has outlined what's really impressed him about the player during their short time working together in the capital.
CHELSEA V LEICESTER: FRANK LAMPARD PRESS CONFERENCE
"What I did love was the way players took on the information we were trying to give them because we only had a short space after Manchester United and there were a few different messages and they took it on brilliantly," said Lampard. "They are the generals on the pitch.
"People like Jorginho, I thought he was fantastic the other night.
"Constantly talking to people around him, constantly dragging people up to get the backline up and playing with quality.
Frank Lampard even got involved with the players during training
"The players are the ones that drive that when they get out there and that was the most pleasing thing for me. The spirit and attitude of the players felt really special."
"He's a fantastic player and I saw that in the first day of training in Dublin," he added. "He's a driver of the group.
"He's got real quality and I'm fortunate in midfield areas at the moment as it gives me a problem in terms of competition of Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mason and Ross, Ruben's coming back and others If I've missed anyone out there.
